A Word From Oz

Welcome to what I hope to be a regular publication from 8EyedBaby.com.

Since the sites initial launch many changes have taken place here and this is the best way I can think of to spread the word on what's new, how we've tried to make the site as user friendly as possible and how we try to take all suggestions into account when we are working on new features and improvements.

This first issue covers many of the site changes that have taken place over the past month and a half, milestones reached, the new 8EB toolbar, hot picks and so much more.

I hope that you enjoy this issue and I hope that it helps you better understand the layout of the site.

100,000 downloads & still going

What began as a small idea of providing the members of The Movies Online (TMO) with a home for their wayward modifications (mods) has errupted beyond anyones expectations.

After four short months, 8EyedBaby.com (8EB)has surpassed the 100,000 download mark and continues to steam ahead.

The site officially launched on 31 March, 2006 with a meager amount of mods available. Mods began quickly coming in and the site was getting a bit out of hand for one man to run. With the unending onslaught of having to update the site with new submissions, out stepped one man

who revolutionized the way 8EB ran. His name was Corinthian (still is too).

With Corinthians help, we had transformed this once simple little website into a hub for the TMO community to share their work. On May 29th, 8EB was relaunched with an automated system that no longer required the manual updates that threatened to drag down this site (just as it has done to many others).

Coding was implemented that allowed members to automatically upload their mods for the rest of the community to use.
